Athanasios Tsakiris father of the family have been a skier and the best Greek biathlon athlete (cross-country skiing and shooting) of all times. He had been active and a Greek champion up to the age of 45 with over 600 participations in international and national competitions; A Greek and Balkan gold medalist for many successive years with 5 participations in Winter Olympic Games (Calgary 1988, Albertville 1992, Lillehammer 1994, Nagano 1998, Vancouver 2010), Olympic flag bearer of team Greece in 3 of the above Games and 4 times Olympic torch bearer. He is a Physical Education Academy graduate with specialty in Winter Sports.

If he is not in the biathlon World Cups abroad coaching his daughters, you will find him right outside the shop, as he loves cool cold weather, suggesting you the best type of skis or snowboard according to the snow conditions or giving you tips on how to take the most out of your day on the mountain.

The mother of the family-and big mama of the TSAKIRIS Ski & Snowboard Team- Irene Glava Tsakiris had also been a champion skier with a gold Greek and Balkan victory while she had completed her first participation in the history of Greek biathlon in the Biathlon Junior World Championships.

She is also a graduate of Physical Education Academy with specialty in Winter Sports.

She loves warm smiles and good food so if she not by the reception to welcome you with her beautiful, warm smile and arrange your ski packages, she is definitely cooking something delicious for the team!

The older daughter of the family Panagiota Tsakiris, also a P.E. Academy graduate, started her career in skiing in 2005 and ever since she had been a Greek gold medalist in cross-country skiing and biathlon for all the 9 years of her career. A gold, silver and bronze Balkan Games medalist participated in her first Olympic Games in Torino 2006 at the age of fifteen and had 2 more followed: Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games and Sochi 2014 where she had the honor of being the flag bearer of the Greek Olympic Team.

The younger daughter of the family, Maria, also followed the footsteps of the rest having many gold Greek and Balkan wins in the junior and women category in biathlon and cross-country skiing.

She was a respectful rising star in the Balkan biathlon community and after some amazing results, a 4th place among the best youth biathletes in the world and a lot of podiums, she is now booking your lessons at the shop or assisting you with useful information to make the most out of your ski holiday.
